The Community Bus is available for hire by community groups and organisations. The vehicle will have a full tank of fuel when it is picked up, and it will need to be full of fuel when returned. The vehicle will be presented in a reasonable clean and tidy manner and is to be returned in the same condition – additional charges apply for the vehicle not returned reasonably clean.
Keys can be collected from the Council Administration Office from the business day prior to your booking, with Bus pick-up location provided with your booking confirmation (Ulverstone location)
Basic Insurance is provided (negligent/unlawful driving is not covered), and a Standard passenger car license to drive the bus is all that is required. Please note that the vehicle has manual transmission (not automatic), has a tow ball, and can seat up to 12 pax (including the driver).
The Community Bus will come with a full tank of unleaded fuel and must be refueled upon return, and is to be cleaned to a reasonable standard after use.
